So i have a 8cent woolies petrol voucher, it expires on the 27th. Does this mean i can still use it on the 27th, or before the 27th?
I always thought i could use it up until the day. But i'm always scarred by Optus, when i was on pre-paid having credit that says expires on the 30th of a month but by the 30th its all not available for us.
I have been stung by the optus prepaid too when I recharged on the expiry date and was told "you have zero credit left…" but as what rinbond said, you should be able to use it on the day.

Check your account online. Telstra does the same thing, but it expires at some random time. Mine expired at 3am once, and I'd recharged late afternoon the previous month.
As mentioned though, with the fuel vouchers you'd have until midnight of the date on the docket.
Yes this is a very good question! as a bit ambiguous! (I had the same question with my Virgin prepaid. so I just recharge the day before it "expires on".

So from the above , it come to a end/ceases to be valid on "that day" which could be just 0:01AM on the day
Just so you're aware, each day starts at 00:00, not 00:01. Also if you're using 24 hour time, there's no need to use the periods AM/PM.
A little off-topic, but I was able to use my Coles fuel voucher 2 days after it expired.
