My significant other is also looking for about exactly the same thing at the same price. PVR/internet functionality is not necessary.
Just FYI - an "LED" TV is actually an LCD TV, with an LED back-light. They used to just call them LED TVs, now they refer to them as "LED LCD". An actual LED TV will cost you a million dollars (slight exaggeration) as they aren't mainstream yet.
I had this exact same conversation where a friend was adamant that LED TVs "are not LCD". Also that LED TVs are vastly superior in every way.
When I asked for the source of his ironclad information - "Harvey Norman salesman said so". Sigh.
BTW also looking for a similarly specced TV. Seems there was a flurry of TV deals in the past 1-3 months and none now.

How does this go for gaming?
I game a lot so a bit worried a plasma may get burn ins
Gaming hours could be anything up to 6 hours straight and I don't wanna change channel etc to avoid this issue.
Taht looks ok, but it's not blowing my mind with its cheapness. Personally, I would rather not have 3d/smart functions (unless they are literally no cost at all, and then I still wouldn't use them).
