  4g is not necessary but is a nice bonus, I keep moving work locations every 6 months so I don't know.

    you can try virgin on their postpaid mobile broadband byo
    $19-2gb
    $29-6gb

    no contract can cancel anytime, 4g via the optus network, no excess data charges.
    if your phone is with them, you get an extra $5 off :)

  I use Woolworths prepaid, 5gig for 45 days. $29.00, but i normally use it in about 15 days.

  koganmobile - $10 per month for 2gb (doesn't have 4G but is with telstra network)

  That is what I use as I have wifi at home and at work and so there is no real need for a large amount of data.
