So what do you do with your unwanted freebies and bargains - I'm looking for "Giving Back" ideas here. Any examples OzB style ?

Hi all, further to my previous post on diverting freebies directly to needy organisations, it would be great to hear from OzB'ers, great ways of passing on unwanted freebies and deals to worthy causes.

For example, I once received a pair of "mystery" shorts from 1-day.com.au (more likely unmoveable shorts) - they were so horrendous, I dropped them into a charity bin on the way to work next day. Perfectly good for someone - just not me.
And for a recent overseas holiday, I brought dozens of discounted toothbrushes from a big chemist with me, to give to the local Fijian kids. Just wish I could have taken toothpaste tubes too.

Please share your care here.

I sent unused bargains from last year in a care parcel to the overseas soldiers.

A whole bunch of stuff going to an upcoming local charity auction for Pet Rescue. If anyone is in the Padstow area and wants to support Pet Rescue, feel free to drop stuff off at the Padstow Hotel. The event is in September.

Also easy enough to put extra stuff in a box under the wishing tree at Christmas, I'm a sucker for mystery boxes but most ends up there.

Not a charity, but a good way to pass on unwanted … anything
