Couldn't find an answer yet, and while I'm waiting for Paypal to reply my question, maybe someone has been in this situation, where you have a $US paypal balance, and want to purchase something in $AU
I know paypal balances are used first, but does it apply across foreign currencies? Are you able to use a credit card to fund the $AU purchase or are you forced to convert the $US?
Thanks for the reply. Actually, I just received a reply from PayPal as well, as below in case it helps anyone else.. Looks like I may be able keep my $US balance and use my credit card for the $AU purchases.
The functionality of the system is to convert your available funds to the currency of the purchase; however, there are cases that the PayPal balance are not being used specially if it's in a different currency.
To ensure that your PayPal balance is used, you can convert your USD balance to AUD currency.
