Sony NEX-F3 Camera Single Lens Kit $359 - Click and Collect Only

710

It's $0.60 more than the last deal posted http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/101087
I checked nearby stores to me - 10km away in Ashfield.
Great price.

$400 from overseas sellers

Good price if in stock nearby.

This is not a duplicate as the last post has different price AND there are DEFINITELY cameras in stock (last deal is marked out of stock). I.e. can still score this at bargain price.

Sounds like someone is targeting u to neg… and now i am risking my self too

  • I +'d this one, but I'm not sure what the value is of having a compact SLR when the lens stick out so far. You're not likely to carry this in your pocket are you? (and if you did you might get some funny looks).

    • Not a pocket camera but interchangeable lenses - the body is lighter and smaller and for something like street photography you could mount a 19-30mm prime lens (somewhere around 35-50mm equivalent) and be pretty discrete. The lens would cost about $150-200.

    • There are more compact lenses available for the system (although pricey): http://www.magezinepublishing.com/equipment/images/equipment…

I believe the old 18-55 kit lens as included in this kit was replaced by the 16-50 power zoom, that's half the size.

  • Dont forget the crappy
1.5inch Digital Photo Frame Keychain with the purchase of any Digital Camera, Camcorder or Digital SLR over $50!. Offer ends 30/06/2013. Colours may vary.

    • yes its crappy…..

  • FYI… The included lens is only 3x zoom if your comparing to compact camera zoom.

I wonder how much say a 16x (equivalent) zoom lens for this would cost? I'd ask Google but no idea what I'm asking him.

There are a few options for superzooms. There is a Sony 18-200, Sony 18-200 LE, Sony 18-200 PZ and Tamron 18-200 (same as Sony 18-200 LE) for native e-mount. You could also attach the LA-EA2 adapter and put a Tamron 18-270 or Sigma 18-250.

      • Thanks, but Shishhhhh Kebabbbb!!! $800 bucks??!! Might have to rethink this whole purchase. I suppose the megapixels can't really compensate much of the difference (3x to 12x).

  • Does Woolies discount still work with Dick Smith?

  • Rang stores in Sydney and most of them got reserved or only have display model.
So tempted to drive to central coast to get one.
Anyone in Sydney would like me to get one and compensate me for my petrol/time/effort?

    • They have some in Parramatta. No need to go to the coast. Just give me petrol money you were going to spend.

      • Rang Parramatta at 10:30am this morning.
They have 5 and all got reserved.

  • Just got the last one from DSE Mentone, VIC.

First checked with The Pines Doncaster and the guy there said best chances are fringe DSE's. He said Rosebud, Bendigo, Ballarat, Wendouree etc all have stock!

Remember to claim the tax back if you're going overseas in the next 60 days under the TRS, brings it down to $326! absolute bargain.

thoughts on which SD card and what size to get?

    • Just get any class 10 sd card. probably 16gb?

  • I just bought the canon eos m twin lens kit with speedlite for $450 (after cash back). Which deal is better? (kinda having buyers remorse)

  • All Gold Coast stores still have stock……..

  • anyone find a decent screen protector for it. my old NEX C3 had a nifty hard plastic clip on… would be great to get the same thing on this one.

    • Cut one from a tablet screen protector. I have some that have crease in them, perfect for cut to size application.

  • No longer on website.

  • Any good case/pouch for this?

    • Try Video Pro.

Picked mine up yesterday. Definitely no buyer's remorse. Took fabulous pictures straight out of the box. Had to drive a bit to get it so stopped at JB Hifi on the way to see if they would price match, The guy said "F*@k" … no, they couldn't. Totally impressed with this camera.

  • Always wanted the NEX for a while now but unwilling to pay for the retail price. I love this camera as have tested it out today and here are some of the samples straight out from the camera but reduced to 50%.
