  the little red devil on my shoulder is telling me to neg this out of personal view that wedges are an abomination unto all existence.

      IMHO a lot of them are pretty ugly and they're only slightly less worse for you than regular heels.

      You'd get much better comfort & support from walkers, sneakers & other shoes with orthopedic design. Kitten heels are probably more stylish and not as bad for you due to being less elevated.

      Not sure if the person who negged me hates wedges or likes them or it's just part of the neg-fest that's been going around lately. While I generally don't like wedges, will grudgingly admit this pair is quite nice (great price too).

        I can assure you that I very rarely buy shoes based solely on their comfort and support :D

        But yeah there are lots of J-Lo-esque skanky wedges out there (these ones kind of fall into that category), but most shoe stores have really nice wedges in similar styles to heels. A low-medium wedge when you're on your feet all day is the best thing ever (better than flats for me).

        Anyway, I think I know the type of wedges you're talking about, they look more like kitten heels & courts while this pair is more akin to platform stilettos, correct ? I agree those are quite nice & have decent support.

        Also, hate to be the bearer of bad news, but flat-flats are bad for you )=
        Don't really understand why there's a dearth of stylish casual shoes & sneakers, I've seen some so they do exist but they're pretty rare. Seems like a good opportunity for someone to make millions becoming the Jimmy Choo for sensible footwear.
