  • Spoke to a friend who works for DSE.

    Said it was a webiste fault, as it was allowing customers to backorder the deal. He said only three stores around the country had stock.

  • Called wentworthville/liverpool/wetherill park officeworks nobody has any, they haven't carried it for months.. dang :(

    how come its a price error ! i got one booked from fountain gate (vic) and called them. guy name alex told me they dont have stock and mentone have got one. u call and collect from them. i saw a hope and called there. the guy at mentone store told that all gone at about 9am. if this is true how come its a price error ??? dick smiths should honor all the orders if they really honor customers.

    • its probably all gone from months ago. Not today…

    • I had a click and collect for mentone. I spoke to guy named Lou, and he said the only one he had was a repair item. Left empty handed :(

  • I was extremely lucky - i picked one up a few hours ago. i rang chullora at about 8:45. guy found one. it was a repaired one - new hdd fitted by acer.

    there was no mention of pricing error. i didnt want to ask ………

  • Just had a call regarding a phone I also ordered, he said the reason they are cheap is that they are returned used and repaired phones! Doesnt say that on the site!

    I think DSE needs to review its IT department and fire the fools who publish pricing on these 'dodgy fake' deals… this is number 3 inconvenience for me!
