A lot of people on Overclockers.com.au get 27 inch monitors from ebay, my brother just got his catleap ips display for $380 delivered yesterday and it looks great.

    • The biggest reason I am getting this specific one is for the PLS panel, I am starting to thin 27 inch will be too big and be a waste of money, thanks for the advice. I did see some 27 inch monitors on kogan with the 2560x1440 resolution and i was tempted to get those.

      • 27 is glorious. I couldnt go back and mine's only 1080p

        • well I am currently on a sub-1080p monitor so even a 24 inch 1080p monitor *2 is a massive leap forward. I am tempted to go with Kogan or the catleap or PCCaseGear

        • I just realized that the catleap does not support display port, I might have to go with the kogan monitors.

Any paticular reason for the desk mic?

Unless you are doing casting or something, a Zalman or ModMic is a hell of a lot cheaper.

But yeah, hearing very good stuff about the Catleap for a while now. Everything else looks ok, though I might go for something like a Ducky shine rather than the corsair KB

    • I was getting the desk mic for the quality and I do some live streaming every now and then, I will have a look at the Zalman and ModMic mics and see if i can find a better value mic. the reason I chose the K70 keyboard is for the looks, plus i already have a M90 mouse and it will look nice together, but i will have a better look into keyboards as well.

Ahh k, I only use my mic for mumble etc so I can't comment on that, but I get no complaints about quality.

Reviews look good on Corsair. Unless you see something off seems fine to stick with it.

But damn, 2300 on sound and vision :) I reckon you might have more fun going for 3 of the 27 catleap monitors. They are IPS, which is pretty much identical to PLS, just from different makers IIRC.

        • That is a good point but i need to buy a new desk to hold the two monitors let alone three 27 inch monitors, and the IPS and PLS i have read a fair bit on it seems that PLS is a more premium type of IPS and incurs the extra price because of licensing.
