Buying Books From India

Does anyone know of a way to buy books from india, or some way to get them delivered here.

I was looking for this book and the cheapest price I could find using booko was 38.18

Yet these two Indian shops have it for roughly 14$

I am not just interested in this book, being able to buy books in general at these cut rate prices would be great.

I was looking at the Asterix box-set from an Indian web-store too but wasn't confident enough to go ahead.
Would be interested to hear how you go and what other people think.

I did a bit of research on this, and it seems like India has arrangements with copywriters to print books directly in their country. So the books are cheaper. But there does seem to be a restriction in that they can't be offered for sale overseas.

By the way it seems Amazon.in has just recently started, but your book was not available for international delivery.

I don't know about books from India but I bought a lot of my uni books from abebooks. a lot of them came from thailand, etc.

they are the same edition book and on the back says "not for sale in the USA".

they are international editions. latest editions.

1/3 of the price compared to the uni book shop.

always look for coupons before purchasing.
