      That was Boxchip/Allwinner A31. This is RK3188.
      A31 being 40nm and RK being on a 28 nm process. The difference in efficiency and power consumption is on a whole different level.

      Although, on the price per power ratio - yes the $110 deal from dx was better. But not the same thing and incomparable with this deal.

    I think the CPU is different on this one. Rockchip RK3188 vs Allwinner A31….maybe a newer model?

    RK3188 is the best of the Chinese designed cpu it still lacks GPS and gpu isn't as good as the one in a nexus 10, but with these specs it's a bargain

      Yeah, the only reason I haven't snapped up a cheap brand high res tablet is the GPS models are all $400+ (or have reports that you'd be lucky to pinpoint yourself within a block after waiting a minute).

      If you need 3G and GPS, yes. If you don't need those but need a high res screen, get this.
