Just check for plenty of free ones like Microsoft Security Essentials, AVG, Avira, etc. I personally use Microsoft Security Essentials and never have had any problems with that.

  • Thanks, but with it good to use with ( Mozilla / chrome ) or good for internet explorer

    • Can you please explain yourself better?

  • Microsoft Security Essentials, can be used with any browser

  • Avast!, AVG, Avira or Bitdefender. You should find one out of those you like.

No single AV product is going to be 100% reliable but the biggest security also starts with yourself. Don't open unknown email attachments, don't click on advertising links willy nilly, don't download from "dubious" sources and your 80% covered.

  • I think Westpac is still giving Bitdefender away.

  • Hi deltakilo
    Thanks for your advice.

  • Definite plus on microsoft security essentials, I have been using since being part of the beta testers. Never had a problem, it doesn't continually need to assure you it is working by popping up all the time, just does the job in the background…

  • +1 for Microsoft Security Essentials.

  • I use Comodo which tells me when something is trying to start or modify a system file. It also set to block any unknown file.

Works fine and haven't had a virus for years. Like deltakilo said it also matters what you do on the internet.

  • F-Secure http://www.f-secure.com/en/web/home_global/internet-security

Cheapest if purchased from europe via ebay, usually around $32 for 3 PC's.

  • Bitdefender is currently the best, coming first in piles of tests, picked mine up for $40 for 2yr/3PC:
