Due to jetset soon and need a tablet purely for watching movies on the plane and web browsing whilst in hotels at times.
Would look to sell it once I get back also. Just noticed the Sammy Tab2 10" @ OW for 277, is there anything more suitable for me? (I like the fact that I can load heaps of movies onto a microSD 32GB card)

It's a bit overkill for just a movie and web browsing tab though.
Any quad core tab will probably be fine. A Nexus 7 plus BT keyboard makes a very neat, compact package, but has no SD slot (though there are ways around this).
If it were me, I'd spend $110 on the latest Ainol or similar chinese 7 or 8in quad core.
13.3" Lenovo Edge E330 for $450 with a voucher here ($466 if you get the 500GB HDD 7200RPM upgrade, which I recommend), 2kg with adaptor, slaughters any tablet and can run Windows programs to boot. Battery life is roughly 5 hrs. I was looking at tablets, but gave up. They don't have enough grunt and they will not be as flexible or versatile as a basic laptop. I doubt they have the puff to run 10GB 1080p .mkv's either.
