    Acetylation of L-Carnitine enables it to enter the brain and is supposed to make one more alert and clear minded.

    Powder is the cheapest way to buy it, but like many drugs it is in hydrodcloride form so it tastes unpleasant and you should wash your mouth out thoroughly with water to eliminate the acidity.
