    i have used the second book for work- it was very good.

    edit: i was wrong - it was another book by same authors that i found very useful:
    Strategic and Competitive Analysis: Methods and Techniques for Analyzing Business Competition - that book was very practical. the book in this deal seems to be more theoretical. although the Second half seems to be more practical ( based on the quickest of cursory inspections before my kindle died)
