  • What's the median value of the included ring?

I would also gather that the leading line of the possibility of a 7000$ ring being included is not the actual deal, as that's what you seem to have always offered. It is the $5 off that is the deal, which means your title is a bit misleading.

    • Sorry about the title and thanks to Neil for fixing it for me.

The rings are valued at $30 up to $7000. The rings are foil wrapped and picked at random so we don't know what our customers receive.

    This is Ozbargin not Ozlotto.

Make the candles $5 inc shipping and we might have a bargain….I'd rather spend $30 on some instant scratchies

  • So do you send the candles registered post. Seeing it could be worth $7000 you would lose out if it went missing.

    • We send our parcels through Australia post with signature on delivery if needed. Because we don't know which candles have the higher value rings, we can only insure them for the retail value of the candle.

Thirty five dollars for a candle? I thought those folks charging twenty in the posh shopping centres were already having a lend! Sorry, mate, a 100 yen gashapon ring doesn't count for anything! There's no bargain here.

    Or I could pay $36 & get a Glasshouse candle…

  • Spend $180 for 6 candles and get free shipping. Bargin !

  • This is a crap product and not a bargain. How can that be inappropriate use of a negative vote?

  • spent $10 on cotd mystery item and ive got a pink candle

dont know if i want to actually spend $30 for a candle hopping to get a $7k ring

  • Your 7k promotion seems extremely flawed, most likely breaching fair trading guidelines etc as people may buy your product in the belief that they may receive a 7k ring but the chances are the ring's already gone.

    • Yeah but that's every instant win promotion ever conceived. Open a coke, instant win a car under the lid etc.

      • I believe they have to publish a notice or some such.

  • Like they stated above. They don't know which candle has the $7k ring apparently. So they could only publish somebody had won when all candles were sold. And that's only if the winner remembered to check before throwing the stump in the bin.

  • What's the difference between this and a bookmaker posting a deal on a betting special?
