DVDonlineshop.com.au - is it safe?

Has anyone used this website. They have a really good deal on a boxed set I want but they only accept credit card payment, no paypal. I tried a whole lot of those "whois" websites but I think most of them might have been dodgy and I couldn't get a look up of this domain name.

Can I get some help here in determining if I should go ahead with my purchase? Thanks!

    Two points that are highlighted.

    • Buyer got all my money back from transaction as the dvds were fake.
    • Auda shut them down for misuse of an Australian business domain.

For future research purposes. Use google; it's your bestfriend. There are little tools like "" that allow you to search specific words or links. or use url:(siteurl) which will display all url links from the site.

  • Thanks for all your replies, I knew it looked dodgy and was trying to convince my sister not to buy from them until we could find out more information.
