Thanks for the suggestion… On further looking, I realised I had two different tabs open, one from DX, one from DH Gate, with different specs… I'm sorely tempting to roll the dice on it… Although the ZTE also looks rather nifty for the price… Is it any big deal installing a custom ROM?

I bought a Freelander PD90 Tablet..Be aware they are heavy on battery use..2 hours max usually.
Delivery 2-3 weeks.
Main Concern was EMAILS headed DX…Requiring Credit Card details AND Photo of MY LICENCE.
I think 3 or 4 in total.
Did not reply but took copies and sent them to Paypal..
They told me they were of course a SCAM.
All I'm saying is please take care…Their site is not secure.(June-July 2013)

Shipping may vary from 2 weeks to a month. Can arrive in less than 2 weeks if the item in question has a AU DIRECT option (sent by Toll courier).
The specifications on the DX page cannot be trusted completely — while it does mention 3g 900mhz on other sites such as OrientDeal the phone is advertised as having 850 / 2100mhz dual band 3g rather than triband like DX.com.
The specifications are once again quite different on Merimobiles — they claim the phone has 2 versions and may come in either dualband 850 / 2100 or 900 / 2100. Quite confusing really.
Given that most China phones nowadays are usually 850 / 2100mhz, I'd say this phone is most likely only dual band and doesn't have 900mhz (Optus 3g) support.
If you want a Optus 3g capable phone, try the dual core ZTE V970 (note: this phone was intended for Chinese markets and does not have Google Play installed — it definitely requires a custom ROM install from XDA).
