Paws Fresh Lean Mince Pet Food

On Thursday I purchased a bag of Paws Fresh Lean Mince - 3kg - Dogs, Pups, Cats & Kittens from my local woolworths. When I opened it on Friday I noticed a strong odour which I didn't think much of at the time. But I have twice tried feeding some to my cats and both times they have rejected it, even though they usually love this stuff.

I've sent the company an email but they're not likely to respond before Monday at the earliest. Is there anything else I can do? Can I take it back to my local Woolworths and tell them I think there is something wrong with this?

    Take it back to woolworths

    Dont even bother dealing with the company go to Woolworths and say it seems off , they will most likely give you a refund or worse an exchange.

    Just take the receipt back - they dont want the goods.
    They will give you a replacement 3kg and the cash you paid for it too.

    I do it with watermelons. Some are tasty, some are horrible.
    Done it with a block of cheese too.

        They don't care. It's far better for them to lose a product to the odd fraudulent person than to accuse a customer of lying.

        There wouldn't be too many people who would bother to make something like that up in order to get a free product. They might start to question you if you become a serial claimer but I have done it a few times at my local Woolworths and they never seem to create a fuss.

        • I guess, but they actually asked me if I had the product with me, so I guess it was a good thing I took it along.
