I am trying to contact Expedia brazil but keep getting told the line is not connected?
This may just be me, but has anyone had any luck?

That number is a bit misleading. No 2 leading zeros if using '+'. Else it is '0011' from Australia.
Ring up any Expedia number and it should work - the reference number is for global expedia.
It is +19493334964. It is a US number (for Expedia Brazil). Practice your basic portugese though unless the guy who answers speaks English!!
i can't get this to work. Some stupid voice routing message comes up.

As above - It's a US number.
Also, getting through the Portuguese prompts can be a pain but keep hitting 'Zero' and you'll eventually get a real person. Their English is BETTER than most of the Call Centers we deal with in Australia and they're also very helpful (unlike the useless agents at Expedia.com.au)

How are you calling? From a mobile you would use the +. Hope you have a good rate for the US in that case. From a landline you would dial 0011 before the country code 1 (US), then 949, etc.
Sorry haven't dealt with Expedia so can't tell you if the number still works.

Same here - Unable to call that number from VoIP or Mobile. Some routing message.
I suspect the only working number is the brazilian toll free one which only works from brazil. pretty bloody unprofessional if you ask me. Cost me $$$$$ as I can't changed my flight!!
May be this is because they're being inundated from oseas purchasers hogging up their lines and requesting for English speaking agents?? Who knows.WARNING: IF you plan to change your flights OR have any issues with the booking do NOT book with this site as you won't be able to contact them
Yeah that's right. Someone has told me to go to the expedia office in the city to get the correct phone number? I don't think that would work. Oh well, keep us posted if you get anything. Try messaging them on facebook. I have done that and did get a response asking for my itinerary number, but still waiting for them to reply to that.
Anyone figure out how to contact them? I tried their number but also got some routing message.

That's some brazil toll free number which doesn't work from oseas. I've tried it with all sorts of extensions and no luck. Their official US number (for callers outside brazil) worked a couple of months ago when I had to call them about something, however it has since stopped.
I don't think they're that stupid and haven't realised that the number isn't working (or may be they are), I have a feeling since the word got out they may have been flooded with intl calls from non-Portuguese speaking people and they've simply tried to avoid it.

Called a billion times through expedia us and requested them to transfer through to expedia brazil. All hang up on you. Worst decision made to book through them. However for some who doesn't want to make any changes, this is good as much cheaper compared to others.
After 2 months of pestering Brazil Expedia on Facebook, trying different numbers…. They have finally contacted me!!
