I have bought an Acer laptop from Officeworks and thinking of claiming it on the TRS.
On the tax invoice issued by Officeworks, I can't find the ABN even though it says "Tax Invoice". Does anyone know if it will be a problem to claim the tax rebate on TRS?

Head back to Officeworks and ask if you can't find it.
Tax invoices need to have the words 'Tax Invoice', ABN or ACN, GST, Address.
Check your RECEIPT - It's the third line from the TOP below the Oworks logo. If you can't see thr OW logo then the receipt must have been torn in the wrong spot.

I've just made a claim and it wasn't on the receipt.
Fortunately I had another receipt from the same retailer with one on.
The TRS person (Perth) had enough commonsense to then write the ABN on the receipt I was
claiming from. It did look like to me that she was also able to look on her computer and
ascertain the the ABN was a matching and genuine one.

It'll be there somewhere, either near the top or near the bottom. Post a pic if you like - 2 pairs of eyes are better than one.
ABN 36 004 763 526 is what you're looking for. Easy to mistake it for a telephone number if they run it all together.
