TV Wall Mount Bracket for Samsung 32 inch LCD TV

Hey just looking to buy one of these, there are so many on ebay it is doing my head in. Just want one that is of reasonable quality and is at a good price (or the best price) If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great thanks!!

Oh it would also be nice if it tilted/swivelled a bit.

Thank you.

  • I bought the cheapest one I could find for my 46" plasma. Had it for 15 months or so now and no issues whatsoever.
Make sure it's rated to hold the weight of your TV and go for it.

Mine is a swing arm style (ie 1 arm coming of the wall so you can have the TV flat against the wall or swing it around at an angle to the wall), but didn't want it to be visible when the TV was Flat against the wall. I think mine was rated to hold a 50" TV weighing 18Kg, my TV is ~12Kg.
If they don't have a rating, ignore them.

I walked into Harvey Norman to browse looking for a basic slim design mount (no specials features) for a 32" Samsung led. Asked what their cheapest was and he said $75 and it was exactly what I wanted. Told him I was only prepared to pay $25 and he kept bringing it down bit by bit, I kept saying sorry I'll only buy if it is $25. I was more than prepared to walk out as I had bought the TV online and it hadn't arrived. Eventually he caved in.

tl;dr be careful of extreme mark ups

  • They are under $20 on eBay.

    • ^ $20 for a static wall mount

I bought mine on eBay $60 delivered.
You wont find a swing arm mount for much less than that..

First one is a flat mount only
Second one you haven't specified which model you're looking at. Mine is like the top most 180 degree swivel option, but the plate that affixes to the wall is as much wider (and therefore more stable), as is the part that the TV hangs off.
Does your TV have VESA mounting holes?

      Mine is like this

  • I have a 32 inch samsung LCD tv i'm not sure if it has the VESA mounting holes…i suppose it does?

I don't want it to swivel much just enough to easily be able to plug in a usb without any trouble.

This is not going to allow much more than a few degrees of swivel..

You need to check the back of your TV to see where its mounting holes are located and then go from there. Also check the weight of the TV.

You also need to factor in what type of wall you're putting the TV on.
If it's drywall, then you're going to struggle to get something that swivels as above and still hold the weight of the TV!
Frankly, I'd doubt the strength of dynabolts in a brick wall to hold the above mount (plus TV) with only 4 bolts!

    • scubacoles has basically answered all your questions. Just buy the damn thing.

      • Yep got it, looked at the links more carefully got one that is suitable for around the $20 mark from the seller above.

        All good thank you.
