EBGames has the preowned vita for $198, but you can get the WiFi + 3G version (new) with 1 game (PS Battle Royale or Little Big Planet) for just $249. I think that's the cheapest retail price in AU.

Other than that, try ebay or wait for another holiday deal.

  • I bought the Vita pre-owned at EB. Probably one of my favourite purchases of all time. Coupled with a PS Plus subscription, and mate you are set.

I've got one. Wi-Fi/3G model and unopened, so obviously not used. Purchased from Catch of the Day a few months back @ $199, trying to sell it for a little profit but that backfired.

More than happy to get rid of it for $175. You can buy a 4GB memory card + get redeemable codes for I think it was 7 or games for $49 from local retailers, so for less than $250, you will have a Vita with a memory card and a number of games.

    • do u still have it?

      • Yes i do. Had 2 people PM me but they are yet to respond. :/

If interested, PM me and we can talk further. If you are in SYD you're more than welcome to see it for yourself before purchasing.

  • ^Yet when you go in store they barely have any games to sell. Same with any other aussie retailer.

    • Yep, digital or online stores are the way to go with Vita games.

      • Im really hesitant to get too much from the digital store so i try to get the physical copies off online stores.

I think it is a pretty big problem that local retailers arent really supporting the system anymore though. It doesnt do anything to entice people to buy a vita (besides the specials going atm). Some people barely buy or research online so would probably be turned off and think there are no games at all for the system. Kinda makes sense why everyone says there are no games for the Vita (not really true) its because people never see them on shelves!
