  • Prices seem to have been fixed already

    • still working for me

Ignore my previous post, helps if I can learn to read properly!

  • Thanks, ordered, but I would say that this will almost definitely be cancelled, they probably forgot to put the price up by 60% before the discount code was applied.

    • Lol… ordered as well. Not too hopeful though reading previous posts/experiences about The Hut and their seemingly very cheap items. :L

      Oh well, fingers crossed.

  • Awesome thanks heaps!! Worked a treat.

  • Ordered one. Works for me. Thanks!

  • cheers got one ;)

  • Doesn't work for me… I can't click the "buy" button for anything. I can select the size, but the colour part is greyed out - either the sale is over, they're out of stock or the backend script isn't working on my browser :(

    • pick a different size and then go back to your original size and it will let you pick.

      • +1

It was my browser :( Work still uses IE7… damn. Fired up Chome and viola, it works :)

  • Thanks still working

    Expensive dog bed liners.

Seriously, don't waste your cash on this junk.

You need to be a Brave Soul to try them, wear them or even give them away. Absolute Rubbish should be printed on the label.

And YES, I have bought some and my opinion is as valid as the next idiot's.

    • +2

Really? I have two and love them.

      • +3

Same here. Ignore him/her, no matter what the item, Giggles is always here waging a war against the Hut.

        • +1

you might join him after the hut cancels so many orders like this one :)

        • +4

You win some you lose some, I certainly won't hold a grudge against them if it gets cancelled though.

    • i've bought 4 brave soul hoodies and i've been satisfied with the quality of them. not jumping for joy but the quality fits the price.

they're thin yet they keep me warm (doesn't get that cold in Perth anyway); wear them all the time at home and going out.

  • What size would be good for 5'10" height? No size chart available on the website.

    • Large

    • bought something from the hut last time they had a zip hoodie at this price. I worked out I should get a M but ordered a L and found it too big.

      I'm around 5'10 average size.

      HTH

    • No size chart available on the website.

      what?

it's right there …. VIEW SIZE GUIDE

    • You may not read this in time, but generally for mens tops, it is the width of the item that scales. If you take a look, you can see the size charts only change in neck/waist/chest.

There are few things funnier than tall lanky dudes wearing XL shirts because they think they are extra tall.

I know this because I was one of them.

  • Thanks OP! Got 1 for my brother

  • I just received this email from the Hut…

"One or more of your items are now in our warehouse and ready to dispatch but we're sorry there has been a problem processing the payment for your order."

    • I also had the same email when paid through my AMEX card. Cancelled the order and re-ordered using my MasterCard and no payment problem email thus far.

      • I paid by Amex. No issue thus far.

    • Same problem here. Paid by 28 degrees card. Retried with the same card and will see.

Just becareful! Last time I ordered from this - http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/107068 - on the 17th of June, it only arrived today - almost a month later. Might be spring time before you get this order. :P

  • Anyone knows how long it take for those items to arrive? I ordered a jumper and got email from them on 18/06/13 that it had been dispatched and I'm still waiting….

    • expect anything from 2 weeks to a month. 99c shipping isn't exactly going to be quick

  • My order arrived within two weeks from the dispatched date

  • +1

    Sweet.

Full list of 60% off items here…. http://www.thehut.com/catalogue/men/offers/60-off-brave-soul…

I also grabbed on of these jackets, also 60% off…. http://www.thehut.com/jackets-clothing/men/clothing/brave-so…

    expired… cant apply code :(

Wasted half an hour for choosing what I want.

it's a price error again and good luck for those made the order not getting cancel

I wont get any deals from Hut anymore, all those cheap stuffs are price error and will get cancel

    • I think, if there is a discount code, normally it's given with the product. Using previous discount codes may result cancellation of the order.

    • +3

you wont get deals from them because you weren't here in time to place an order?

      you are kidding right?

Edit: Wait… you came back and negged this deal because you didnt see it before it expired? Can you please delete your account from this website immediately?

      • Chance to cancel the order similar to this deal, since coupon code was not displayed with the product like this. May be they have forgotten to marked as expired a previous coupon code.

However, It's great price if they accept the offer. Good luck…

Should admire the OP who have posted a great deal on hut previously http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/107068 also.
There are many members who have up voted the post since it's a great deal even they didn't need to/didn't have a chance to grab it.

      • +1

My NEG is to The Hut, I didn't negative down vote because I missed the deal…

It's because "The Hut" always having price & coupon error issues and this is not the first time, and they didn't improve at all.

And with previous experience, all price error orders won't be honor and will get cancel by highly chances

        • +2

Like the one WNK highlighted above which was honored… and 60% off like this deal. Really childish to neg deals that you aren't here in time for, regardless of whether you admit that is the reason or not.

        • +1

the one WNK highlighted above which was canceled & refunded

        • some of them were, a lot weren't. read the comments.

    • I wont get any deals from Hut anymore, all those cheap stuffs are price error and will get cancel

good. more stock for someone else to try.

    • It maybe too early to NEG it, but it will get NEG same as previous deal after ppl orderes get cancel Previous Price Error Deal

  • +4

The discount code you entered is invalid or not applicable to the contents of your basket.

  • What is the sizing like for Brave Soul Hoodies or clothes in general. Runs small/big/true to size?

    • honestly, just getting to kmart requires time and fuel. so you should see why online shopping for clothes is a lot more appealing already. then when i get there i have to fight through screaming kids running around, prams & trolleys blocking up aisles, stock left on the floor/aisles, boxes…all that to find that what i'm looking for isn't where i expected to find it. so i have to walk around some more to look for staff who have mysteriously disappeared. when i manage to find someone, they can't find what i'm looking for either and after more time-wasting, they conclude that the item is out of stock.

all that for what? with all my effort getting to the shops, am i getting better quality at target/kmart/best&less than i would at the hut/zavvi? and anyway, if you expect quality in this price range, well, feel free to keep kidding yourself.

    • Guys, I think giggles is having a 'cry for help' moment. Lets be supportive

      • lol…group hug?

  • -3

Good to see there are enough undiscerning cheap-a$$ buyers out there keeping the shoddy manufacturers in business.

India appreciates you. The workers hate you. The retailer LOVES you.

  • mine seems to be fine. email confirmation received.

Loving all these clothes from Bangladesh, did anyone watch the 4corners report?

    • -1

They don't CARE as they only get $5 pocket-money a week.

You are preaching to children, as am I.

      • if you insist on looking down on us and calling us "children", don't expect to sway our opinions any time soon.

and yes, i watched that 4Corners report. the key is for these clothing companies to only do business with factories that provide safe working conditions and fair pay for workers.

clothing workers need these jobs so boycotting Bangladesh-made products won't help them either.

        • I didn't call anyone a child, so maybe two separate is more appropriate.

And yes u are right, it's the companies that needed to change, but they have more this way because of the positive reinforcement given by customers who rush out and buy their product pat them on the back for bringing prices so low.

There is nothing stopping us buying Bangladesh clothing costing a price in which everyone makes a fairer slice of dollar.

Boycott those priced at a level where it's clear only a unsafe factory can afford. If u watched the program you would realize there are more expensive Bangladesh clothing which I refer to, where it is made safely.

Maybe it does take a child to say, I know it's wrong to buy them, but I did it coz it's someone else's problem

You guys do realise you are debating a topic that hasn't been resolved by the world's most brilliant diplomats and businesspeople for decades.

Exploiting labour will always happen when there is a critical mass of labour and poor regulation/adherence to the law. If everyone starts buying $50 hoodies, guess where the extra profits will go? Shareholders and executives.

Bangladesh will become a powerful economy this century, and when that happens (and wages rise), Nigeria/Kenya could become the next textiles producer for the world in the late 21st century. Then we will have bleeding hearts banging on about them. Ahh the circle of life!

        • I didn't call anyone a child, so maybe two separate is more appropriate.

i replied to giggles. you can see his comment was in reply to your comment.

If u watched the program you would realize there are more expensive Bangladesh clothing which I refer to, where it is made safely.

if you read my comment, i already said i watched the program. i even mentioned those same Bangladeshi factories that you also mentioned i.e. "factories that provide safe working conditions and fair pay for workers."

        • +1

So you're saying we can spend billions sending men to the moon and back, but we can't manage to spend $1 more on our clothing can be made in fair conditions?

Maybe we can just try buying clothing from retailers who have signed an accord that only produce garmets from safe factories.

It doesnt take a brilliant diplomat to that.

Hey, giggles has been boxed for a week!

got 3 for $25. Brave soul make some good clothing, I've bought a few items from ASOS and the Hut previously and they are still going strong. Can't say the same about clothing I've bought from Rivers.
