FREE Pet ID Tags (Pet Identification and Recovery Service) @ National Pet Register

160

The National Pet Register is a pet identification and recovery service.

It's the largest Australia-wide pet ID service operating 24/7, 365 days a year.

The tag issued to you carries a unique registration number, plus the 1300 number for your pet's finder to call.
A finder of your lost pet will call the National Pet Register and quote the registration number and we will advise them of your contact details. Once you have registered we will send your tags in the mail within 21 days.

Not a bargain, Always has been free.

But still a good idea to register, if you haven't already and have a microchipped animal

    • have a microchipped animal

that. tags and collars can come off chips cant.

  • Everyone with a pet should do this!

Never thought of it as a bargain but it is an amazing free service (when it could be paid) , which really is the definition of a bargain!

The two times I've called to temporarily update the contact when I've been on holiday they have been extremely friendly as well.

Please Note: If you have recently had your pet microchipped or recently purchased a pet that was already microchipped do not sign up for a free tag as when we register your pets microchip or change of ownership a tag will be sent to you as part of the registration process. If you have had a National Pet Register tag in the past and can't remember your log in details, please contact our office on 1300 734 738, as creating a new record may duplicate your existing record if you do indeed already have one.

  • i wonder if i can get this for my neighbour…

    • So you can track where he uses his flushable wipes???

      • not really, is for his cats who comes over my backyard killing my vegges.

This tag just saved my dogs last week. Only 1 has a tag so fortunately they stayed together after they dug their way out under 2 fences (in just a couple of hours). Got a txt from the register and a call from the nice person who found them.

  • Do they do kids? (And I don't mean goats.)

    • i thought the idea is to lose them when they turn 18? so that they don't leech on your retirement funds? lol

  • I'd rather not … I dont want to be responsible when my dog bites someone…. Lol
