Always on the hunt for a bargain ;)

PS: I work for Bunnings - I wasn't sure if I should tick rep or not.

      • Employee of Bunnings but declared as a rep for a Masters deal…

  • Thanks OP! Great job. Good price, and excellent link to a review showing that this product has problems - what more could an OzBargainer want.

  • Do these have the same model number at both vendors? I've heard a lot of people having problems price matching at Bunnings due to different model numbers for the same product from the same manufacturer.

    • exact same model numbers on the shelf at Bunnings.
It is a clearance model at both stores.

might be a clearance model as it has been replaced with a newer model that doesn't break after a year or two's use….from the reviews

  • … aaand it's back, and all is good with the Bargain World.

    I wouldn't recommend a Karcher at all.
Have been through 5 (2 at work, 2 with Old man and I've had 1) all of them with VERY little use, at most once a month, mainly 6 times a year.
All with in 18 or so months. Tried to get one replaced/fixed, 6 months later I've given up.
Bought another brand, 3 of them (Work, the Old man and myself), still going strong, one is now 3 years others around 12 months.

Have a look at product review, a few other people also say they don't last.

      what's the other brand/model?

    • What would your recommendations be?

  • I have been using a Gerni now for awhile.
At all three places it is been used, it has worked well.
So that is my recommendation for now.
