  • Got some right here, but take note, you need a really big head…. or lots of hair, I dont like them at all and they dont sound that crash hot either.

  • Just so there is no confusion, the Officeworks offer is for the old version of the headset and not the new version (as in the razer link in OP).

  • I have these sitting a brown box somewhere …

I really didn't like these headphones. They feel cheap and sound cheaper. The worst thing about these is the in-line volume control. You have to adjust the dial just right, else you get crackling sounds or one side of your headphones loses sound.

The mic sounds OK though. I wouldn't buy Razer headphones again - they just don't make good audio products. I love their keyboards & mice though (currently using a Deathadder mouse, and I'm planning on getting BlackWidow keyboard).

Do your wallet & ears a favor, give this one a pass …

  • in need of a new headset but given the comments above I guess I'll pass. wish I'd jumped on the $29.99 kraken pro deal

  • Hmm $50 for these headsets will last 1-1.5 year in my experience.

Decent deal but the quality of the actual product is debatable.

  • I got the xbox/PC version before and there was a constant crackling sound through the earpieces, had to return it as it was so bad. Now have the AD700 + Zalman mic combo and it's pretty sweet :)
(The AD700 is really big though, had to use the wire tie from the box round the two head pads so it'll stop falling down my (big)head)
