popcorn maker to roast coffee with

has anyone tried using a popcorn maker to roast coffee..

I have read about some online but they are all US brands with 120v

anyone got any recommendations on a good one for roasting coffee that I can buy here?

I was wondering if a pasta machine would do a good job for flattening out raw meat for carpaccio..

picked mine up from vinnies.
