Different advice on kitchen appliances - Electric

Howdy all,

After reading the thread here http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/110970 i thought i'd post my own …

I'm doing a kitchen renovation & the house currently only has electric connections to the property, there is free gas connection to the property deal on at the moment, but i dont want to deal with another supply and usage bill when i already have everything on electric …

What i'm thinking is that i'll get an induction cooktop, we've got the space for a 900mm but all of the cooktop's i like in that size & induction are around the 3-3.5k mark … have been looking on ebay & auction sites, but just wondering if i'm missing another angle that i could try …

Does anyone currently use induction and can recommend a specific model?

  • Graysonline?

They were selling off the De Detrieche brand appliances for around 1/4 price on a lot of gear, was a few months ago.. But keep looking!

Harvey Norman Clearnce outlets are surprisingly cheap on appliances too. Gaggenau 60% plus off. Ariston, F&P, many other brands cheap, and you can haggles around 15%-30% more off.

Personally I'd go with deluxe appliances online.
