Dicksmith is opening a new store in the CBD in westfield Sydney and they are offering 20% off all note books excluding Acer and already reduced Samsung notebooks.
On a laptop i want dicksmith has it for $1199 with further 20% off that which comes down to around $950.
JBHFI is selling it for $1197.
I have checked that both stores stock the same model and colour.
wtf… why don't you just get it from Dick Smith? If you can check both, surely this mean they both have stock and you can access both sites? I seriously doubt they would go 20% of their $1197 price, they would simply match $959.20 so I'm very confused as to what your motive is :S
At the time i posted this i couldn't get the number of the new dicksmith and it isn't listed on their website so i can't check if they had stock or not.Also i don't live near the CBD and JB is closer.

Well it's been a while since you posted, have you called to check/how did you go?
JB Said dick smith is offering it for $1030 after the 20% discount which is BUll because i calculated it myself from the original dicksmith price.
They couldn't get their number so they asked the manager to check their website.
Anyway i called George Street Dicksmith and asked for the new dicksmith's number and when i called they said they have around 6 in stock so i went over there and got one plus dicksmith has a free telstra usb wifi dongle worth $69 with any new laptop purchase so it's a win for me and a lost for JB who lost a customer.
JB should scrap that Always cheapest price.
