I think it is rather "we b the rapist"

or "we b therapist" if you want to give them some benefit of doubt :)

looks like a tablet PC to me. Maybe next time include a bit details of what it is and the specs.

Totally agree. Almost as bad as someone being too lazy to spend 10 seconds googling it.

sorry was on road and a bit excited

  • Bummer. We don't have a Myer :(

    • Try doing a price match/beat at Office Works. They do carry the same model. You may need to print and carry the uploaded receipt by WEBTHERAPIST

      • web the what??

I prefer paying 899 for the i5 version

    • +1

Where do u get 899 for i5 .. incl keyboard dock?

    • then it would not be a bargain ;)

      • Not a bad deal. I'm not a fan of that plastic feel of the tablet and the Atom processor. I think for an extra $500 the Asus Transformer Book is better option…

        • Extra $500 for transformer book? The lowest I check cost at least 1.3k for tx300 …

    • yes, that's what I want to say…. atom with only 2G ram and poor 32bit os…..

      • +2

What exactly are you wanting to use a 11" screen for?

I'll give you a heads up… This product is going clearance at Officeworks soon.

    • jeez, I'd be interested to see if OW prices this less that 550, I pricematched this at OW a while back and got it for 580, which I was happy as with. Not a bad package, the included scribe is handy, particularly for win 8 desktop operation. Good connectivity, and fairly good keyboard. But definitely plastically.

  • Newbie question …
The hard drive ("64GB e.MMC iNAND™ Embedded Flash Drive"), is it the same as a SSD? Or are there perhaps subtle differences?

    • It's an SSD. You just can't remove it like a normal SSD.

but unlike a certain company that is rotten to it's core (a haw haw haw puns), Samsung tabs have micro sd ports to increase your storage.

      • Thank you eug.

it works very smooth guys, you gonna love it lol

  • Awesome price, but just a short word of caution, my friend had one of these and only issue is the dock does not have a battery in it so it has to rely ton the battery from tablet unit so battery life is not as great and some units apparently just connects and disconnects randomly because of a loose connection built on keyboard dock.
I went with the Asus 810c instead and been very happy with it (costs more) and has everything the same but in transformer style mostly aluminum built, but with battery powered keyboard dock that gives me up to 19hrs battery life more than double the samsung and a really nice leather case, albeit at a premium.

    • I think the connect/disconnect thing was a problem with the early batch. I bought an XE700 for the office and it had that problem. I sent it in for service and Samsung replaced a cable in the dock. It hasn't done it since.
