Resole work shoes, Sydney

Does anyone know an affordable place to resole shoes in Sydney? CBD area maybe?

I've got some old, pretty plain black leather work shoes that are 5-6 years old. The soles are wearing thing, and I thought a good place to get a good price on resoling would be when I was out at Blacktown today, but the guy wanted $55. I told him the shoes only cost $65, and went on my way.

I'd just get some new shoes but I hate the culture of things being so disposable, and they're good, comfortable shoes.

    $55 is bit steep.

    Most places can Topy the sole for around $25-$35. Extra if you want to add something like a Goodyear heel.

    Topy is just the brand of rubber sole, quite good. Lasts for a long time but I sort of feel its not worth it on a $65 shoe.

    Far out. Just stopped by a little place at milsons pt station. They do topy for $65-85.
    Has the world gone mad?

    60 must be standard. Ive payed 30 for heels only and 60 for soles and heel. I just checked the brand, Valentino Rudy .
