The Royal Derby and I go way back. From seeing THE STONE COLD BONERS every Saturday night in the mid 90s, to actually living upstairs in my Melbourne Uni days.

Recently new owners took over, concentrating on doing up the menu (good pub fare), utilizing the beer garden (Sunday session anyone) and moving away from the Uni night scene.

When I learnt they were the major sponsor for the Fitzroy Football Club…well that won me over straight away.
