High Strength Krill Oil, 30 Capsules, 1000mg $20 at Chemist Warehouse. (Usually $30+)

20

Saw this at Chemist Warehouse at Maroubra for 20$ per 30 capsules. Normal price is generally 35$ plus, and these too are normally 25$ but they're running a special introductory offer.

They're exactly the same as the name brand krill oil as far as ingredients and composition.

If you really care about value of money, why would anyone buy the small 30 cap packs? Any discounts on them will never make them better value than 60/90/120 packs unless they are on final clearance.

Deep Sea Krill Oil 1000mg 60 Capsules $27.99

    • Damn, must have missed that

Actually, Healthy Care doesn't state the strength of the EPA / DHA.

Also Deep Sea Krill Oil isn't NKO which contains less EPA / DHA compared to Swisse's NKO brand.

If you want value for money, buy this http://www.iherb.com/Natrol-Omega-3-Krill-Oil-Lemon-1000-mg-… for $18.47. Buy 6 or 12, save money and you have a year's supply.

It's NKO like Swisse's NKO Krill and has the same strength.

      • Heard somewhere that you should have 720mg of EPA and 480mg of DHA a day. All of those seem really low.

      • Thanks Mike! - just bought 4, with DHL shipping ~ 5 days.
~$16.50/bottle as got discount for order(s) over $60.00.

Great stats on this oil too!

Saved the site to faves, looks like a good one.

        Regards to you!

  • How do they get oil out of a Krill?

You just ask nicely and have a big airline sick bag ready.

  • Crush / Squeeze / make it surrender ? :) does it matter ?

  • Not directly comparable because its fish oil, not krill oil but I personally use Bioglan Super Fish Oil (small&concentrated) 200 pack for $28.99 at chemist warehouse.

There around half the size of normal fish oil capsules and they are completely odourless and flavourless (I have Hyposmia so I can't attest to the odourless).

  • They also sell the 500mg 100 capsules for $30 that I picked up the other day.
If you take 2 capsules to get the same dose, it works out to cost only $18 for 30 serves compared to this so a little bit cheaper.

  • Coles/Bi-Lo has "Blackmores Odourless Fish Oil 400pk" for $19.39 ($19.40, 50% OFF) this week.

    • Beware of those tubs at Coles, check out the directions. More often than not you need to take 3 of the capsules instead of one of the super krill oils or super concentrates.

If this is the case then your really getting 133 for $19.39. That's why I prefer the pack that I mentioned above.

      • ahh, thanks.

"More often than not you need to take 3 of the capsules instead of one "

ahh so you mean it may be like 3 caps/day?

  • Can you swallow 1500mg? stuck and hurt my throat :(
