Apple offering 24 months warranty on iPhones (Australian Stock) and Discounts on Macbook's

I was at the Apple store Broadway (in Sydney) couple of weeks and speaking to the sales person I’ve been told that Apple store will happily to offer following discount (you just need to ask)

8% off Macbook Pro’s 15inch
10% off on Macbook Air and Macbook Pro 13inch

Also, came to know about the 2 year warranty on iPhones. Though the standard warranty says Apple covers all faults for manufacturing defects for 12 months, Apple offers a 24 month warranty on their Australian sold iPhones. (Please call Apple store if you have a warranty issue on phone that is older than 12 months but younger than 24 months).

As most of you know Apple also does price match.

    w.r.t 24 months warranty, it was posted here in March. Pressured by ACCC I guess.

      I only realised that someone posted about warraty on ozb, not sure if I should post the discount offered by apple store as a deal though!

        Discount offered is more of a price match rather than always available discount.

    Afaik apple still only offers 12 month warranty on MacBooks. However, you are able claim via consumer ACCC warranty after the first year (usually its to your retailer though, unless you bought from Apple retail).
