    Be careful with these Chinese dash cams … there are many that look alike but some are woeful quality and some are brilliant. Get the real thing.
    Find out the model number of the one you are thinking of buying and check out the result on YouTube, most makes have samples on there.
    I got 2 x K6000 dashcams for around $30 delivered from AliExpress and they are very good… not stunning 1080P but very adequate for the job.

    BTW… Ignore the LED lights… they do not illuminate anything.

    Does it have the button switch that will save the preceding 4 or 5 minutes or something when there's an incident so that part doesn't get overwritten by the loop recording?

      These cameras record a constant loop of whatever segment length you set - fill up the card & start deleting the oldest segment.
      If you get decent capacity SD card your last 30 mins at least will be safe.
      Unless you keep on recording for the next few hours…

    Will it run while Im not driving and have my car parked some where?
    It would be handy to track people that are messing around with parked cars…
