Avast Intern Security protection - any problems dealing with them?

Has anybody had the same problems as me when subscribing to Avast for internet security? I purchased their internet security package for 3 PC’s for 1 year.

Once paid (online) Avast immediately updated the computer I was using. No complaints. But there was no email follow up confirming my purchase and more intriguingly – no email with any instruction on how I apply the Avast security program to the remaining PC’s that we’re allowable with the package. (2 more)

After a couple of emails to and fro with their technical division, they supplied a download link. I followed their instructions using my second PC for the installation but when the installation was complete I was greeted by a message that told me my computer was at risk as the Avast internet security package has ‘expired’. It gave me the option to purchase a new package.

3 emails and 24 hours later I’ve had no reply from Avast. Now, I’m no computer guru – nor am I computer illiterate, but I find it extraordinary that when one purchases a security program for 3 PC’s, that the provider doesn’t provide some sort of explanation/instruction on how to apply the programs to them.

Am I missing something here? Maybe expecting too much?

Shouldn't the subscription come in the form of a key?

Carefully read over your invoices, receipts and emails and see if there's anything in the attachments or download links resembling a product activation key or file (it must contain the .avastlic file extension).

You plug this key into the Antivirus (open Maintenance -> Registration -> Insert License File)
