Looks like this guy wants to be the next L. Ron Hubbard.
'I have been to Venus and Mars by consciously traveling in my astral body and can bear witness to these marvellous inhabitants.'

    Absolute nutjob.
Also not Ozbargain worthy, Catholics and Christians aren't spruking Bibles can we just keep it about the bargains and not pushing religious beliefs.

The very first deal posted on OzBargain was for a Christian book store.

    • Hey, we wanna get rich… ie, as Accountants for this new-Scientology cult's business affairs… eg, for its Aussie chspter(s).

Think how many Aussies pay external cults & quacks now… This time the money woud stay in AU, for a change..

      (Just kidding…)

        Hmm, the religion of Ozbargain…
People could make their tax deductible 'donations' and in return they could buy things from Ozbargain for 'religious purposes'.

'And then he said unto the Scotty, praise be to thee for setting upeth the Ozbargain…'

'… and yay it had been a 15 minutes without a smart ass post from'eth JV, but nay he has just commented on the wording from'eth a rep'

    The synopsis is gold =D

    • So, where was all these cult warnings when 2012 (the movie), etc. hit AU with similar nonsense?

The Ex-PM (J Gillard) even made a TV short suggesting it was TRUE!!!
(After a NASA scientist st up a web site to -help- prevent folks form
falling prey to such nonsense, letting folks ask him questions about
the claims (to which he answered with scientific rebutals.)

      Voting Labor in Sep…?

Seriously, I say: Let these guys have their fun, just as you likey did for hollywood, when 2012 came out. View it all as comedy, & enjoy!

I prefer the Hercolubus spinoff; Xenu, Warrior Princess.

I've heard the full version of that is not free.

A religion is only a cult lent legitimacy by time. there really is nothing here that is any less ridiculous than the old testament for example…

    • Maybe on average cults kill their followers (literally and in spirit) and on average religion kills non followers (literally and in spirit).

I guess you haven't been touched by the FSM's noodly appendage

      • +3

        FSM is not a religion.
        It is Scientific Reality.

    • Of course the Old Test. spawned groups of bright & focused individuals who continue to promote, eg, Talmudic approaches to thinking (considered good training for would-be Lawyers & Scientists, etc.)

I don't think you can say the same for Scientology or this one, of course, not to mention Catholicism (look at their clergy & its hierarchy).

Want examples? If you have an Android device, try the Jewish,tv app & view some of the video talks, How-To's, etc. Skip the unwise bits and you still have some genuinely wise ideas… such a nice UI (with auto resume for interrupted videos). A warm, vibrant culture, packed to make it easy for outsiders to check it out… NOT with an eye to converting the masses, but to let us all know they don't do dangerously silly things.

I'm sure you'll have similar groups to mention… who do "traditional" things… but how well to they package their content?
(Lots want only to -sell- it…)

Not a bargain, from the reviews it sounds like I can find a lot of better stuff from the recycle bin
