Howdy fellas, I missed out on the $499 note 2 that pop'd up on uniquemobiles a couple days ago :( wondering if anyone knows somewhere to buy the note 2 for as cheap as possible while still having aussie warranty, would like fast delivery as well.

Although the galaxy note 3 will come out soon so if you weren't in a hurry I would wait till after that time
I'm in a bit of a hurry. Need a new phone. I doubt I'd fork out for a note 3, it'd probably be $800? and the note 2 would maybe drop down to 450-500? $50 loss isn't all bad. Just wish I checked this 2 hours ago :( They say next day delivery if you order before 1pm.
Think I may go to a retail store and see if they'll price match it or even beat it :p
Just went into the optus shop and got it for $552 without the sim. No $100 voucher, but it's hardly worth the extra $25.

Interesting & thanks for Optus pointer as that started me looking at their online options.
If you go for "Month to month" with $25 plan, "I want a new phone" option and pay upfront you can get it for $577 on that plan for 1 month. Optus sales rep online confirmed phone is unlocked so you can switch to another provider immediately or after the month is up.
Bonus is that by buying online you also get $100 accessories voucher:
