Help on finding the right TV

Hi, I've been looking to get a new TV for some time now but I am having trouble, mainly due to the size I'm after. And I'm turning to the OzBargain community as I'd rather hear from personal experience if possible.

So what I'm after more specifically is:
• 100Hz minimum
• must be FHD - 1080P, no less.
• LED/LCD as I hear it's a little better for gaming
• around the 30" mark
(going on a computer desk so space is an issue, unless the base is nice and high or even somehow adjustable)
• inbuilt wifi and/or ethernet, with streaming from NAS
• 2-4 HDMI ports

NOTE: Price isn't too much of an issue, I would like to keep it around $300-600 if possible but please post any information you have and price. This is not only for entertainment but it's an investment as well since I record my gameplay and since Ps4 and XOne is coming soon, I figured I'd upgrade this monitor.

I was hopping to get something that is a combination of both the Panasonic TX-37LZD850A LCD TV and the Samsung T27A950 27" LED Monitor. I'm going to be replacing the T27A950 as I need something that I can use both PC and consoles on, but unfortunately the T27 doesn't output good quality for consoles (it can vary from being fuzzy to having too many jagged edges) where as the Pana850A does great quality for both 360 and ps3.

I'm assuming this has something to do with the refresh rate as the T27 only hits 60hz (even though when I bought it they said 120hz on the box but shifty samsung caught me out on that 1) where as the Pana hits up to 100hz.

My other issue is this though; and this is the important 1 as this is why the T27 is essential to me, I use a netgear rn104 series to stream videos to the T27 (via ethernet through router) as it outputs the best quality vs watching it right off the PC or media player and the difference is so noticable that I can't bear to watch videos off my PC anymore, so I put them on the NAS just to stream to the T27.

If I could describe the quality, it's as though as if I'm seeing what the camera is seeing, there's next to no lag and everything is so smooth nearly 80-90% of the time there's hardly any roughness or trailing when streaming videos. I may be wrong but I'm guessing it's the ethernet having higher data rate than HDMI, if I recall correctly.

P.S. Sorry for the long post, the past few years I've bought stuff without doing more than 60-70% research and just cause I could. This time, I want to be sure that I'm getting the right product but with a product like this it's hard to tell without multiple opinions.
