:)

Thank you everyone

I'm in the process of opening an online skate shop and am starting out with a big sale on my bearings and bearing spacers until Monday. I've been selling purely on Ebay for a few months and have recently reached power seller status with 100% positive feedback.

Postage will be within 1 business day of payment, I have 150 sets of 4 bearings ready to go,

$2 including postage for 4 Abec 7 skateboard bearings.

I strip these bearings of their manufacturing grease then apply my own thinner grease and then a high grade oil to make them even better for skateboarding use.

There's even a short video in my listing of them.

Bearing spacers are $1.75 for 4 including postage :).

I have also got full set ups (canadian maple 31" by 7.5" - 8" decks with skull printed Indy trucks) that are not yet listed online but if there's interest (message me on Ebay/here/mobile) I'll put em up.

Paypal preferred, can do pick up from Melbourne cbd if ordering multiple sets.

good luck with your shop m8 :)

Thanks mate, I'm sick of seeing American pricing being so good compared to Australian shop pricing. The mark up here is horrible. Since I work full time already this is more of a hobby/service than a money making venture :)

  • very good price

My scoot's bearings seized last week, nice timing!

What price are the complete boards?

    • +1

Also interested in more details about the complete boards. Details please =]

      • Also interested in your full setup here

  • Great price. Do you have 2x5x2.3mm bearings.

  • link is down for now…

    will update shortly

problem with paypal accepting payments on my account

  • All gone?… listing has ended.

    edit… NVM

could people who've bought before I updated link please let me know if funds were taken from your account?

Auctiva decided to use a non existent email address for paypal payment

Payments that went to [email protected] should not go through

it's been updated to [email protected]

I will be messaging each affected sale and completely accept if you no longer want the items and will request refunds via Ebay.

Link is now 100% working with correct paypal and postage will still be within 1 business day

    • I used the new link and paypal receipt says the seller is [email protected] but down the bottom right it says payment sent to [email protected] (no underscore).

Is that right? It appeared to work okay and money taken out.

      • yep yep all good they'll be posted tomorrow :)

  • Thx,
Put in for a set but got the PayPal problem message.
Am also interested in a complete deck set
    Thx

    • thanks adam so you tried to purchase before and it didn't allow the transaction (phew)

Once I've sorted all this mess out I'll come back to you with set up info

my payment was sitting there in paypal as unclaimed, i have just cancelled it

you probably should register that gmail account ;)

  • Excellent, thats the thing… I tried that first but gmail doesn't allow underscores

  • interdasting

  • Target sell fake penny wheels with bearings for $2-$4 depending on when you go. These bearing are the same crappy Chinese ones, so the target ones cost the same, and you get 'free' wheels.

I remove the grease and re-oil each and every bearing… I even throwing out the ones that don't spin smooth enough for my standards… I'm not going to say these are as good as top quality bones ceramic bearings but definitely better quality than department store bearings

      • If you are relubricating them I hope you know what you are doing, using the correct type and correct amount, it's easy to get wrong and will be extremely detrimental to the life and efficiency of the bearing.

dude they are $2 bearings… please don't get too worried

        • The problem isn't that they are easily replaceable, it's that if you are riding it quickly when it fails…

      • That would take 5 mins to do on your own…

    • Mostly cheap chinese bearings are ABEC 1 grade, these are advertised as ABEC 7. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ABEC_scale

      • +2

For skateboard bearing the ABEC rating doesn't matter, it is just a marketing tactic.

  • Just bought a set, looking forward to getting them on my deck! Thanks buddy.

  • Tried to grab a set just now after work. Sold out. Owell, good luck with your online shop.

    • +1

thanks mate, I'll most likely be putting more up once I've organised these 150 sets.

Early estimation is 100 more sets to be available, but I'm not going to put them up unless they are packed and ready

  • Okay, hopefully I won't miss your next available sets due to work. Cheers for the heads up.

  • Already shipped, thanks Daniel

  • Great deal and as said previously, good to see someone dedicated to awesome pricing within Australia. Bought two sets :)

  • I remember removing my old zz's for NSKs back when I was a kid, the NSKs had it all over those ZZs. I remember paying $26 for a full set for my $15 kmart board, went like a dream.

Nachis were big back then too, are people still using these in boards?

  • Hey daniel,
What are you posting these in?

Would have thought you were posting them in a letter but how could you even break even once you include postage?

    • +1

      $1.30 for the C5 pre-paid envelope.

My "profit" comes from people buying multiple sets in the same order… as they are paying the buy it now $2 price for each set.

It is a bit of a risk… however the last 150 sets I had only 31 were sold individually.

In order to get better quality products for my next bulk purchase overseas I'll most likely be doing another sale in a week or so for 8 x abec 7 bearings with spacers for $5 including postage, which is still a very competitive price but will allow for a slightly higher profit margin.

I'll also have my full set ups under my other items so the people interested can go straight across to see what I have :)
