Hey,
Was wondering if anyone could recommend me something decent. Like any android phone, maybe a phone that's on sale or something. Should be around $100. I know the budget is tight, but that's all i can spend atm.
Suggestions on which shop to see if any clearances would also be helpful.

Huawei Y300 is often on special for $99 or less that seems to be decent spec for the price.

At the low end of the market though don't be expecting Nexus 4 speeds

Basically a gift for people who have never used an android phone in their life. So yes, a Huawei or anything similar would be fine. Not after something spectacular, just something for beginners.

You'd probably be better off asking your friends if they have an old Android that you can use.
$100 isn't going to buy you anything great! And if someone has an S2 (or similar) sitting in a drawer somewhere, it'll be significantly better than anything you can buy new for $100.
Having said that, there have been a few $99 phones posted here, but they're all specials..
Keep your eye open and you'll get something…
