Not sure where to post this - question about worth of a Macbook Pro

Hi guys,

As in title, not quite sure where to post this, but I figure Ozbargainers would know the worth of my old laptop!

Im thinking of selling an Early 2011 13' Macbook Pro that's been with me since May of 2011. A few dinks, but 100% functionality except for the battery which is ~2.5 hours/charge. 2.3 GHZ/4 gigs rams, nothing to add much.

Would somewhere like here, or craigslist, or ebay be best?

You should include the price here and someone might choose to purchase it off you.
    Other options include:
    - Ebay. Charges about 10% fees
    - Gumtree. Free to list but make sure you never send the laptop away before confirmation of payment. If you choose for Cash On Delivery, I suggest you meet in a public place eg Police Station.

The discussion of selling or offering should be posted in Classifieds Forum.

As per the price, if it's the i5 version (2.3ghz) your looking at between $800 - $900 based on the average on eBay, disclaimer: this is an estimate, you need to take into consideration the cost of a replacement battery, and what the cosmetic damages are worth to you when it comes to reducing the price. Cosmetics on a car will probably put you off, or you may not care at a lowered cost of the car.
