That's 30% as per HN. Best price I have seen since its release. Price match at OW makes it $991.8.

      Then I'm out of time. It ticks most of the boxes. It's a bit of a gamble though because I had a Helix for a short period and the wacom digitizer input was bad. Surprisingly my Samsung Note 8.0 has good calibration and accuracy. Were I to get this I would hope there were no driver issues.

        Well when I was drawing with it in would slip in and out of pressure, something I've never experienced with Windows 7 drivers.

        but believe me the pressure sensitivity was erratic. I did test out the x700t1c with Fresh Paint at HN 2 weeks ago and I like it. Hard to tell how it will fare when you can't road test programs like Photoshop.

        Still with the right drivers Wacom > Ntrig. That's not even open to discussion.

        So you don't misunderstand it could of been a Lenovo Helix problem and not a Wacom issue but I believe it just need a firmware update of some sort to stop conflicting issues.

    Wouldn't they honor it based on HN being opened. Some staff are pretty strict while some don't really care. I've had two different experiences.

  I bought the Windows 7 version one for about the same price, it works really nice.
  I do not think this is a very good price.

  the XE700T1A is the windows 7 version and the T1C is the windows 8 version.
  Even though its touch, I prefer windows 7 and it works really well.

    You are kidding. Doesn't the one you have just got the standard resolution and the 64gb ssd. This has 120gb ssd and hd screen. This would be better value and you could downgrade to windows 7 if you really want to. I do agree with you at least that I don't see the value on Windows 8 for my use.
