Patriot micro SD card from MSY

I bought a Patriot 16gb micro SD card from MSY in March this year, and a couple days ago I noticed that it had stopped working, I tried accessing it via my computer and my brother's computer but neither machine recognised the card.

Unfortunately I don't have the receipt and I checked my bank account and unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a record of the transaction, leading me to believe I paid cash.

Is there any chance I can still get it returned for warranty or something either to Patriot or MSY?

    You need proof of purchase, otherwise you have no evidence whatsover you purchased from their store.

    I thought about this over dinner. I share your annoyance at cards failing. Can you check with Patriot to verify that it's a legit card? If so, I would go with that option first. They may also be able to use the serial number to determine when it was sold. Regardless, Scrimshaw is right - you will still need a proof of purchase.
