      But you must admit, for those of us not living in Canberra, its very convenient having this at the airport store.

        Actually its not in the airport terminal. Its on the other side of the airport from the terminal. So about a 3 minute drive, or a 5 minute dash across the runways followed by a quick climb over the fence. The terminal itself has a newsagent and a coffee shop and, um, I think thats it. Even Newcastle gets a Hungry Jacks.

      It's actually not a bad airport… has a Virgin lounge as well there. Newsagent is suitably large and well stocked and the coffee/alcoholic beverage lounges are decent.

      Taxi queue was ridiculous though… esp during colder months.
