US Package Forwarding to Australia

Hi Everyone,

I am thinking of using a US packaging forwarding to purchase an iphone from apple.com, but I am not sure which US packaging forwarding service is reliable, allowed by apple and with reasonable price.

Somebody told me Apply is controlling its distribution very tightly so some packaging forwarding service may be recognized by Apply and the order get cancelled.

I just want to ask does anyone know a service provider that could suit my requirement?

Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks

I've used US to OZ before (not for ordering through apple.com) and the service was great. http://www.ustooz.com/

They aren't as big as some of the other forwarders so they may not be picked up by apple. The girl that runs it is an Aussie living in the US.

    • I'll second this suggestion. She is very helpful, and although I know it doesn't apply in your case OP, if you want several parcels consolidated into one, she doesn't charge for this as some companies do. I've even changed an order partway through (asked her to hold it for a week so that something else could be added, which I'd ordered after placing the original order with her) and she was only too happy to oblige, even though she'd already sealed the box ready to post.

  • I use this one http://www.forwardit.us/

I am more than happy with the sevice.I have used Brian quite a few times.
He re- wraps exrremely well to send on to Australia
You are also given an option on whether you want the cheapest postage or Priority etc.
I think you would be more than happy with this company, and his prices are excellent

This one may be more reliable as it is a PayPal service.

    • Hello, we are also happy to accept PayPal payments at US to OZ :)

  • PriceUSA.

  • It may be worthwhile emailing MyUs.com to see whether they have had problems with Apple delivering to them before. They will reply promptly. I have used MyUs.com for a couple of years now, and they have always provided great service. I buy a lot of stuff through Amazon, which has included an Asus wireless router and adapter wall plugs. Check out also deals on Apple products from Kogan in Australia. I will email MyUS.com to ask for you.

  • Devon,

Have just received word from MyUs.com that Apple.com does not ship to any parcel forwarding services in the US, as they want people to purchase products in their own countries. You are left with either buying from Apple in Australia or from Kogan or someone else, unless you have an address in the US to use.

Let us know if you do find a parcel forwarder that is not on Apple's list.

    • I think you'll find Sarah from Us to Oz will find a way around this for you. If nothing else, she offers a personal shopping service for something like $5, so I'm guessing could just go out and buy you one if need be.

      • I messaged her via Facebook on this and here was her reply:

Since we work out of a residential property and packages are attention the customers own name my guess is that we could assist. Feel free to have them email me.

        • Thx G. I will contact her directly to get this sorted. Thx for your time.

    • Thx so much for taking time asking on behalf of me. I asked them before and was told to buy from Amazon instead. My guess is Apple is not dealing with them.

  • I've used stackry a few times to order apple products - mainly ipads and macbook airs. I haven't ordered from the apple store though, I've had good luck with microcenter and amazon. I've gotten some very good deals with Microcenter. They have in store deals I wish I could get sometimes though, need to figure out how to get a local shopper for cheap..
