For those of you, like myself, who will buy the game for a current-gen console and upgrade once next-gen consoles become available, you can download the game via PSN/XGS (Xbox Games Store) for your PS3/360 and for an extra $10, you will acquire a token/redeemable code for a PS4/XB1 version of the game which can be used upon the consoles release.

While it will cost you $120 in total, you are getting digital versions of the games and give and take, you are paying $60 for each game which is a great price when compared to physical copies and importing.

Nonetheless, $65 for a physical copy is great and is about $35 less than some local retailers.

or you can just buy the PS3 physical disc, and then do the $10 upgrade. The upgrade isn't just for the digital version. If that were the case, it was probably be just as cheap to buy a physical version of both PS3 and PS4, seeing as PSN is an absolute ripoff. Also, with physical, you don't have to use up storage space, and you can sell in the future.

If you do the physical route you have to keep the disc and have inserted in to the ps4/xb1 every time you play the digital copy as I understand it, also the AUD price for the physical upgrade will be more than $10 (probably more like $20). I'm just holding off altogether until next gen.

        • It's $10 for both physical and digital upgrade. You do have to keep the PS3 disc, but it's not like you can sell the digital copy of the PS3 either. Each to their own I guess!

Me also, I am just waiting for my PS4 to buy games.

    • If you can get a physical 360 copy at a similar price, you may be better off getting two physical copies and then selling the 360 copy once you no longer need it (or wait and just buy the next gen one when they inevitably go for $50 or so in a sale early next year).

  • Good find. I notice on their website they have another Ghosts for $74.99, which I presumed was the PAL UK version, although it says it's release day is also 5/11/13? If it were the UK version, that would ship on 29/11/13, correct? I wonder why they have another listing for $10 more.

    • The dearer is PAL (UK) this one is NTSC (USA). Both play the same on the console as far as I'm aware

  • Don't you need a US xbox live/psn account to redeem extra DLC ?

    • Yes. I believe you sign in to the US account, purchase and download the DLC, then you can sign out and sign back into your AUS account, and play the game with the DLC. I have never done this myself though.

      • Is this true? Good news if it is. Though I never buy the DLC, though this one may come with the pre-order bonus map.

Have they written a new engine for CoD yet? Going by their track record, probably not.

If they have they will probably use it for the next 10 years.

    • I believe they now (finally) have a new engine, in time for next gen consoles.

      • It's about time, the amount of money they rake in, you'd think they'd have one ready by next year

I think they've put all that money into the DogCam Engine - it really shows…

        • Yet Chop is way better than this AI

I ended up cancelling this order and buying a few games from Ezy Video

    • I hope you're not in a hurry to get your games. My experience with videoezy's shipping - slow!
