Shipping:
Shipping on bikes is determined by your shipping region. You can use our postcode search page to check which region you are in. If you can't find your postcode, just give us a call.

Tier 1 covers most metropolitan areas across Australia. Shipping to areas in Tier 1 is FREE for bikes!

Tier 2 covers most regional and rural areas, with the exclusion of some remote locations. Shipping to areas in Tier 2 is $49 per bike.

Tier 3 cover the remaining regions in Australia, such as Nhulunbuy NT, Longreach QLD, Broome WA or Kingston TAS. For these areas, freight is 'price on application'. We'll talk to our freight provider and get you the best quote we can. Most of the time, shipping to the regions in Tier 3 is between $75 and $175.

Parts and accessories shipping prices will be listed on each product page.

Remember that bikes are shipped 90% assembled. Some assembly is required. We recommend that final assembly is done by a qualified bike mechanic or other suitably qualified person. Damage caused by incorrect assembly (such as installing the pedals the wrong way around) is not covered by your warranty.

I've been thinking about getting a commuter & riding to work. Was interested in the internal gearing hub on one of the kona bikes. I live near the beach and my bikes are always affected by rust. My current surf bike is on the verge of disintegrating. But for < $500 I could be tempted by something like one of the above.

Not on special but I like to the look of CREATE C8 Geared

    • Look into belt-drive my friend.

IMO Reid kinda had to drop their prices a bit on these models. Their bikes aren't bad but with the crazy competition in the sub $1k price bracket they just didn't seem as good value as they once were.

  • my friend bought a reid bike. It lasted a year or so but now has problems with the axles of both wheels. The guy at the bike shop told her they only last 1-2 years. Just so you are aware.

    • Hmm.. sounds like the bike shop might've been trying to sell your friend a new bike rather than actually fix it (having teenagers trying to upsell me to a brand new bike whenever I took my bike in for a service is unfortunately why i stopped using local bike shops and just learnt to do it myself)

      • Agree with chickentaste. You get a few good LBS's that are honest and provide great service and prices, then there's the rest.

Reids use components like any other decent bike, they should last many many years.
