    HL:Source was quite a letdown for me as i was expecting a HL2 looking HL1.
    Luckily their is always the modding community to fall back on and about 8 years ago a group of guys decided to make a proper remake of the original HL using HL2's Source engine and building it from scratch.
    It's out now, free and a standalone game; and it's called Black Mesa.
    No multiplayer yet though.
